Sygic Europe - GPS Navigation App Reviews

The app worked fine in Denmark but not as well in Hamburg Germany. It kept on telling me to drive into oncoming traffic, i.e. In the wrong direction of one-way streets.

Nonsense. Keeps reminding even when you say no. 1 star

I bought this for an upcoming car trip in Europe. Its interface is counterintuitive and I have been unable to complete a single set of directions between overseas destinations. It defaults to my U.S. location, and not surprisingly, cant figure out how to drive to Scandinavia from here. An instruction manual apparently does not exist, just a few FAQ in a help section. The scarce and cryptic instructions on how to plan a route from a different starting point begin with a "menu" I cant find on my iPad or iPhone 5S. The maps of destinations are promising and hopefully I can access the app with more success when overseas. I will update if I can figure it out. For now, it is an interface disaster. Perfect! Using it all the time. No extra navi device needed anymore. And you dont have to pay for map updates. Often knows points of interest, like supermarkets, or a restaurant you know by name. No problem to enter GPS coordinates as destination. Download the maps of the countries where you are going, you can always delete maps when you are running out of storage space, and download again. - Of course, no internet connection is needed for navigation after the maps have been downloaded.

Very helpful navigation. Best for the money

Sygic is an excellent navigation tool. I expect recognition of addresses will be improved because some unrecognized addresses are recognized by other sistems like Google Maps.

Takes a chunk of memory but worth every kb saved my bacon many times in France

Nothings perfect but iss great navigation!

So far so good. Used it today and it got me from point A to B no problems. Going to continue to try it out and see. Wish me luck :)
